to Tri-State youth
Dubuque Figure Skating is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and growing the sport of figure skating in our community. The Learn To Skate program and the Figure Skating
Academy at Mystique Community Ice Center instruct skating fundamentals to beginners, develop their skills, and showcase their talent at regional competitions. Skaters in our programs learn more than Lutz jumps and camel spins. They learn resilience, perseverance, and dedication – character-building skills needed to be successful in life.

About US
Dubuque Figure Skating uses time-tested
curriculum developed by Learn to Skate USA which is endorsed by United
States Figure Skating, USA Hockey and U.S. Speedskating. Through that, we teach
the basics of beginner skating, competitive figure skating, beginner hockey
skating, and power skating. Now, we are striving toward our next goal of becoming a sanctioned Club with the U.S. Figure Skating Association. With this distinction, our skaters are eligible to attend larger competitions and Dubuque Figure Skating is sanctioned to host competitions and test sessions right here in Dubuque; bringing skaters, their families and coaches to Dubuque for multi-day events. We offer year-round skating instruction – providing year-round exposure for participating sponsors
